U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued solicitation 70B06C26Q00000080 for the procurement of Less Lethal Specialty Munitions (LLSM). The agency intends to award a single indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a potential maximum value of $49.9 million over a five-year ordering period. The requirement covers a broad range of tactical tools, including distraction devices, specialty impact munitions, and area saturation munitions designed for both training and operational deployment. According to the solicitation documents, these items are intended for use by CBP and potentially other DHS components, such as the U.S. Secret Service and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The contract is designated as a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 332994. The solicitation, which was posted on April 1, 2026, requires vendors to provide munitions compatible with 40mm launcher platforms.
